What is Capanis?
- Capanis is the Internet and VoIP Phone provider for Sunshine Suites.
Phone Service
- If you need a phone and would like to know about what services are included, please submit a work order.
- Our company, Capanis, will connect with you ASAP.
Setting Up Voicemail
- Press the Envelope button on the Linksys phone or dial 5555 on the SNOM phone to access the voicemail system.
- Key in your access code, which is by default the last four digits of your telephone number.
- The system will prompt you to change this pass code and record your name. Please be aware that this is not the greeting that callers will hear.
Record a Greeting
- To record your greeting that callers will hear, you need to go into your mail box (I.E.: option 1 on your voice mail system prompts)
- Please note that you will hear options to record your busy greeting (I.E.: the greeting that callers will hear when your lines are busy) and your don't answer greeting (I.E.: the greeting that callers will hear when your phone isn’t being answered).
- Please follow the prompts from then on or call Support if you require additional help.
Checking Voicemail Remotely
- Dial your telephone number and press the * button when you hear your voicemail greeting
- Enter your pass code after being prompted and press #
- Please follow the voice prompts to check messages or activate other features
